Join Boundary Way Project Online to Celebrate the Summer Solstice

It's nearly time for the Summer Solstice, the day the northern hemisphere has the 'longest day' or the day with the most daylight hours for the whole year. This year to mark the occasion we are going to be joined online by artist & folklorist Anne Marie Lagram to celebrate the event and magic of midsummer from her Shropshire Garden.

Anne Marie is an artist and folklorist based in Shropshire and has been helping us to celebrate the seasons for several years now. During the session she will be sharing the traditions, folklore and plants of this time of year. Alongside this we are delighted that Anne Maria will be demonstrating how to make & decorate seasonal honey biscuits, as well as how to create a simple floral circlet & natural amulets. We'll also be working with her to learn how to construct a sun-wheel of seasonal plants in this informal and friendly virtual gathering, during which she'd love for you to share any traditions you have for this time of year and will be sharing some of her own too! The sharing and making session will take place on Monday 21st June at 10:30AM via zoom and costs just £3. If you'd like to join us for this Summer Solstice session you must reserve your place in advance by purchasing a ticket here.Other workshops coming up soon:
