Boundary Way Writers Group - Away with the Birds Workshop

21st November

2:00pm - 4:00pm

Online

Boundary Way Project offer friendly, online meetings for anyone interested in writing poetry that explores nature and green issues. Suitable for all abilities, they provide an opportunity to create and share poetry in a relaxed workshop.

Join us for a fun and friendly afternoon of creativity in an online Zoom workshop. Create poetry from prompts on a nature theme. The group is self run and relies on group members taking it in turns to design prompts.

This month Boundary Way Project are welcoming freelance writer and editor Simon Fletcher and Wolverhampton's Poet Laureate Dr Kuli Kohli who will be leading a workshop designed to explore our relationship(s) with wild birds in a creative and thoughtful way.

Participants will receive further details and a selection of bird themed poetry to look at in advance of the session.

This session is organised in conjunction with Offa's Press an independent publishers based in Shropshire. It is hoped that an anthology of poetry,' 'Away with the Birds!', will be published by Offa's Press in September 2023. Submissions will be accepted by email via a window in July 2023.

A link to join the meeting will be sent out in advance.

This workshop is part of Boundary Way Projects Autumn 2022 programme exploring nature and biodiversity in a climate and ecological emergency.
