Today the Boundary Way Project is delighted to be celebrating one of the most important days in our calendar - that's right it is [Earth Day](https://www.earthday.org/)!

Earth Day has been taking place every year since 1970 and is a day aimed at diversifying, educating and activating the environmental movement worldwide for the future of our planet. Every Earth Day can drive a year of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to create a new plan of action for our planet. This year our project is getting involved again, this time committing to work towards 'Restoring Our Earth' by making a #planetarypromise and launching our new programme of workshops in partnership with the Season for Change Programme, which celebrates the environment and is inspiring urgent action on the future of our planet. Will you join us in raising awareness from today and into this year? The National Lottery's new campaign focuses on everyone coming together, organisations and individuals alike, to do our bit for the environment. As part of this campaign, fronted by Chris Packham, the Boundary Way Project's #planetarypromise is as follows:

"We pledge to help people connect with and value nature and to support its conservation”

What's your planetary promise going to be? As part of our work towards our #planetarypromise, we are delighted to be sharing our new programme of workshops funded by the Cultural Recovery Fund for Heritage and as part of the Season for Change Programme. With support from Culture Recovery Fund we are able to develop our online programme, offering friendly and accessible sessions supporting wellbeing and connection whilst social distancing continues.
