We have an amazing team here on the Boundary Way project and we thought it was about time we introduced ourselves to you all. We can't wait to meet you! Moya Lloyd - Project Lead Moya is developing and leading the Boundary Way project, working with the project team, plotholders, artists and a range of community partners.

She is also working in partnership with Penn Fields School to develop a creative curriculum inspired by the natural resources at Boundary Way. She has previously developed and managed arts and heritage projects across the West Midlands, with a particular focus on arts and wellbeing. Visit Moya: www.twitter.com/artsandhealth

Holly Pleydell - Project Co-ordinatorHolly is working with the project team and the plotholders to research and collate historical information about Boundary Way, co-ordinate our project website and support the team and artists in all aspects of their work. Holly is currently undertaking her Gold Arts Award and has long been interested in heritage & the arts.Visit Holly: Holly's Blog

Maria Billington - Workshops and Natural Heritage Research Maria Billington is a herbalist and is researching the native plants on our site - she has been running sessions with schools and plotholders to examine changes through the seasons and to explore the uses of plants. Maria is the Manager of Gatis Community Centre, a centre for community activities in Wolverhampton with its own wonderful green space. Visit Maria: Gatis Facebook page

Geoff Broadway - Workshops and Oral Histories Geoff is an artist working with film and photography who has a wealth of experience of delivering community arts and heritage projects and education work. Geoff has been working with school groups, helping them to capture the landscape at Boundary Way through photography and stop motion animation. He is also undertaking interviews with plotholders past and present gathering stories about their experiences of allotment life. These will be presented in a film which will be launched in June 2018. Howard Berry - Plotholder Howard is a retired special needs teacher and IT specialist. He has facilitated the development of arts activity at Boundary Way and a sustainable approach. He also promotes a knowledge of the site's history, geography and sense of place. Visit Howard: www.boundaryway.co.uk

Shelley McGregor - Head of Art - Penn Fields Schoool Shelley is a teacher with a visual arts specialism and a practising artist. She is collaborating with the project team and with local artists and arts organisations to further develop the school's creative curriculum and offer pupils opportunities to develop creative skills and build confidence. She currently developing Arts Award accreditation and working towards Arts Mark status for the school. Arts Award and Arts Mark

Isabel Blower - Teacher - Penn Fields School Isabel is a teacher with responsibility for community outreach and also specialises in music and runs an Eco club. She is working with the project team to develop outdoor activities that help pupils connect with nature and support wellbeing. Marie Sewell - graphic design Marie is a graphic designer specialising in inclusive design. She has developed branding for the Boundary Way project and will be developing design work for an educational resource and brochure. Twigs Way - Researcher in Historic Gardens & Designed LandscapesTwigs has been working closely with our Project Team to research the deeper history of Boundary Way and allotments in the Wolverhampton Area to create a historical text about our site. It is a really exciting partnership and we can't wait to share the outcome of the work with you next year. Watch this space.www.twigsway.com

Arts ConnectThrough our partnership with Arts Connect we have secured a grant that allows us to carry out a successful pilot of the Arts Award at Boundary Way with the Sixth Formers from PennFields School. Arts Award is a great opportunity for students to gain a wider understanding of the arts world through workshops, research and visits. It is a nationally recognised qualification that helps young people progress into further education and employment.www.artsconnect.co.uk

Penn Fields 6th form have investigated stop motion animation, photography and collage as part of their Arts Award pilot supported by a grant from Arts Connect

Wolverhampton Artists' Open StudiosA free weekend event set to run on Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th October 2017. This annual event is coordinated by the Wolverhampton Society of Artists (WSA) and gives artists and venues, such as our own, the chance to showcase their passion for the arts in all its forms. Over the weekend Boundary Way will play host to an exhibition of work by five artists in response to our site as well as talks and activities for all the family.www.wolverhamptonopenstudios.co.ukThe Heritage elements of our amazing project are funded through an 'Our Heritage' grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, who are the largest dedicated funder of Heritage in the UK. Their grant is enabling us to explore the natural and social heritage of Boundary Way and share it with you at events like our Arts & Heritage Weekend, as mentioned above.www.hlf.org.uk
